Delaware Valley Food Pantry

The Lambertville Food Pantry has the following needs at this time:

beef stew, black beans, boxed milk, cake mix, canned fruit, catsup, Chef Boyardee, deodorant, diapers, feminine sanitary products, fruit juice, jelly, pancake mix, Rice-a-Roni, small plastic fruit containers, spaghetti, syrup, toilet paper, tomato sauce(jars), and toothpaste.

Thank you for your generosity.

The Food Pantry also could use some helpers when they are open: Saturday from 10am to noon, and  Wednesday from 2-4pm. The work is easy and rewarding.  See Linda Hults or call the church office if you are interested in helping.

Please bring donations to the Lambertville Food Pantry (click here for information) or leave them in the drop off boxes in the connector at KMPC.

Substitute Driver Needed to Deliver Bread to Food Pantry

Would you be willing to serve as an occasional substitute for those who regularly deliver bread to the food pantry in Lambertville?   Linda Hults has recently assumed the role of coordinator of the schedule for those who go to the Giant supermarket in New Hope and pick up the already filled grocery carts of donated bread and sweets and then deliver them to the pantry. There is a group of dedicated volunteers who have been doing this for a while (Frank and Linda have been doing this for about a year) and the job is relatively easy. The task takes about an hour, depending on where one lives. She is looking for a couple of people who might be willing to substitute for someone on the regular schedule when the need arises. She would be happy to "train" someone who could be interested. Please contact Linda directly or email the church office if you can help.
